Jennifer is seeking representation for her debut novel, Graft, featuring four women—a con artist, a card sharp, a spiritualist, and a ghost named Captain Jane—fighting for their lives and financial independence in 1890s Oregon.
Jennifer holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Religion from the University of Chicago and was a Tin House 2020 novel workshop recipient. She has worked in academics and finance, and her work has appeared in Litbreak Magazine, Sundial Magazine, and The Copperfield Review.
Jennifer is also a literacy advocate and writes about education at The Way by OR360. She lives in Portland, OR with her partner and children and draws one-panel cartoons to relax.
